Hello dear viewer, 

You've arrived at my about page likely because you are a member of my immediate family or some poor lost internet traveler.  But in the unlikely case you actually are here on purpose and would like to know something about me, I'll do my best to help you out.  Let's just agree that it's about as weird for me to tell you about myself and my photography as someone introducing themselves before a commencement speech and move on.

My name is Alex Gray, I'm a Texas native and, for the moment an Atlanta resident.  I've had the great benefit of traveling a lot growing up and that led to my hobby of photography.  This website, in turn, is a way for me to showcase that hobby and share my images with various interested parties.  I'll likely not be the next Elia Locardi but there is value in the things we create and this is as much for me as it is for you.  For the photography nerds out there I shoot most of my work on a Fujifilm XT-1 although you can still find a few shots from my old Nikon d300s around here.  If I could only have one lens it be the Fujinon 35mm f1.4.  To quote Zach from dedpxl, "There are lenses that I love and then there are lenses that have magic inside of them."  This is one of those lenses.
